Mexico Guarantees Over 100 million Vaccines Against Covid-19
This morning, on Tues., Sept. 13, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced in a conference that 3 pre-purchase agreements for Covid-19 vaccinations were signed, guaranteeing access to the vaccine for 107 to 116 million Mexicans.
Slashed funding affects San Miguel athletes
On Wed., Oct. 7, the House of Representatives approved the elimination of 109 funds, one of which was the Fund for High Performance Athletes, known as FODEPAR. This, according to José Javier Patlán Matehuala, director of the Municipal Sports Commission in San Miguel de Allende, is "a hard blow to sports."

Devotees of the Holy Cross have won a temporary battle. In a meeting at the sacred site of Las Tres Cruces they managed to get representatives of the SAPASMA to postpone work to build a semi-buried tank to collect drinking water from the southern part of the city, water that will then be distributed to the east and west, that is, upper and lower parts.
