May 5, 2010, marked the first Red Dress Day to grieve and remember the missing and murdered indigenous women of Canada.

As word of the availability of Jóvenes Adelante's Premium Scholarship program has spread more widely and deeply into SMA communities, the number of students seeking a place has doubled in each of the past two years.

To start with, a few questions: What year is the student in? What kinds of grades does the student have? Are there any others in the family who went to college?

Our water crisis is increasingly affecting us all, even in the urban centers, and this is a great opportunity to learn more about the different aspects of our two main water problems.

We are deeply grateful to Jaime for his testimonial about his wife Imelda, a 32-year-old patient diagnosed with ovarian cancer, who entered the hospice service in October 2020 and died in March 2021. Imelda was sick for a year.

Another budding law student with Jóvenes Adelante, Víctor is from the campo and is 17 years old from a family of four.
