Feel at home in Marluz

Feel at home in Marluz

By Fernanda Noriega

After strolling through the Jardin, getting lost a couple of times in the streets of San Miguel de Allende, and taking photos here and there you always end up hungry. If you are looking for a place to eat like at home at an affordable price and without losing the traditional style, there is a place just a couple of blocks from the parish of San Miguel Arcángel. Marluz is a colorful restaurant where Aideé Galo and her husband offer you everything from delicious enmoladas to Oaxacan tamales, depending on the day, or even a menudo for a Sunday hangover.

It is located on Relox, almost on the corner with Insurgentes, and it’s open from 8am-4pm. You can go to Marluz and feel at home thanks to its picturesque environment and the hospitality of Galo and her husband. They can always recommend good places to go to better get to know the center of San Miguel. You can follow them on their social networks: Instagram @mar.luz33 and Facebook Marluz, where they share photos of their dishes.
