Mexican Night

Mexican Night

By Reyna Rodriguez Rosas

Cesar, the youngest of a small family, from his childhood he had the musical influence thanks to his father and grandfather, musicians of vocation, who instructed him in his taste for music, leading him to push his passion towards a professional environment and putting it into practice on weekends playing in a mariachi in the main garden of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.

He is currently studying a degree in Music at the University of Guanajuato and came to La Biblioteca Publica de San Miguel de Allende looking for an opportunity to be a holder to one of different Scholarships offered by the Biblioteca Publica year after year. With the interest of giving back to La Biblioteca, he approached the Theatre Manager, Irineo Muñoz, with the idea of offering a concert of music playing the violin; mentioning that everything collected in the tickets will be for the benefit of La Biblioteca, as Cesar has mentioned “I would like to return to La Biblioteca a little of how much you have supported me”.

On September 1st at 18:00, Cesar accompanies by his father, they will decorate the Teatro Santa Ana with the interpretation of a set of melodies of the Mexican genre such as boleros and the Mexican regional genre in this unique concert, to begin the celebrations of the patriotic month.

They will lead all the spectators to delight the ear with the musical notes expressed by father and son through the violin and guitar, as a way of transmitting feelings through the sound; they define this concert as “a way to pause in this busy life to enjoy life itself”.

Thank you for continuing to support the Biblioteca Publica de San Miguel de Allende and all the programs that the Biblioteca has.

You cannot miss this concert to Benefit of La Biblioteca Publica de San Miguel de Allende, next September 1 at 6pm, at the Teatro Santa Ana.
