Would you like something different?

If you are in San Miguel, and you think that “there is nothing to do,” you will want to read this. Recently, the Office of Tourism presented the activities available in the state of Guanajuato, and they are divided into four regions.

Among what a visitor (even a local) can do to live the adventure are the following: kayaking, hiking, rappelling, biking, horseback riding and ATV tours, zip-lining, paragliding, bird watching, sky dreaming, caving, camping, parachuting, hot air balloon rides, astronomical observation, safari, and wine touring among others.

Here I will leave you with two regions, which are relatively close to San Miguel.

The Northeast Zone, called “Sierra Gorda” is made up of the municipalities of San Luis de la Paz, Victoria, Xichú, Atarjea, Doctor Mora, Santa Catarina, Tierra Blanca and San José Iturbide. The North Zone: “Camino Real” is made up of Ocampo, San Felipe, San Diego de la Unión, Dolores Hidalgo CIN, San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato city.
