Perfect Day of Bibiana Garmendia, Founder of Happy Hippie Kids

My ideal day is to wake up and meditate in gratitude for life. I like to go early to the hot springs at Escondido Place to swim and relax a bit. There are times when I get into a massage and basin therapy. We have also gone out to play the guitar for a while in the forest within Escondido, enjoying the atmosphere and tranquility of the place. We like to eat there as well because the food is delicious. From there we go to the best gorditas in Atotonilco, they are the ones outside the church. My favorites are huitlacoche with cheese slices or pumpkin flowers.

Following a delicious meal, I tend pass by one of the stalls to buy some earrings or some piece of quartz to hang. With a happy belly, I look at the church of Atotonilco, meditate a little and observe all the murals that it has inside which make it the Mexican Sistine Chapel. Back in San Miguel there is a Mexican candy stand where I like to stock up on sweets of all kinds, especially tamarind. In San Miguel I like going to Lavanda for great coffee and a sweet roll from Panio.

I also enjoy going to the healthy market Caleb, who makes some wheatgrass juices (a food similar to our DNA) and green juices. The cafe on the second floor of the healthy market is also a lovely place. Another of the activities on my perfect days is walking in the mountains. It can be at Alcocer, Cabras, or any of the others. Sometimes I have to give classes at sunset at the Presa with a small yoga group or I go to the Mezcal Arte project which is an open-air cinema called “Cinematographic compartment” I tend to walk my dogs to the Presa, then meditate and then go to sleep. “We have to focus on health and activities that make the heart laugh. Healthy food and living “
