All Signs: Halloween can be full of surprises, “Trick-or-treat!” However, this year Halloween will “really” be full of surprises because on that day, the Sun will be opposite Uranus, the planet of wild and crazy unpredictability; plus, the Moon will line up with Uranus as well. A double whammy! Please note: This is an accident-prone day. Parents must be aware of this, especially with young children out after dark. Everything is unpredictable this day, which means you must be mindful and pay attention to everything you say and do. One other unusual aspect about this year is that even if you don’t care about Halloween, you’ll be wearing a mask!

 

Aries (March 21-April 19)  

This has been such a challenging year for you! Frankly hellish. All the heavy-duty stuff with Saturn and Pluto taking place in Capricorn was completely at 90 degrees odds with your sign. Furthermore, from Sept. to Nov. when Mars is retrograde in your sign, you will question everything and feel at loose ends. In just three weeks, Mars will no longer be retrograde and your life will improve – definitely. It will improve even again in Dec. and then again in Jan.! (That’s how bad it’s been.) In the meantime, your closest relationships are pleasantly activated because both Mercury and Venus just moved opposite your sign this week. Expect smooth exchanges plus lots of fun conversation. Yada, yada, yada. 

 

Taurus (April 20-May 20) 

Something unexpected to do with partners and close friends will occur this week, more likely towards the end of the week. Count on this. Someone might suggest something you least expect? Perhaps more freedom in the relationship? Possibly, you are the person who wants more independence? Mars retrograde is taking place in a hidden part of your chart, which can stir up feelings from your childhood, which will probably make you feel insecure. Fortunately, relations with coworkers are excellent, even though Mercury retrograde is triggering delays, goofy mistakes and mixed-up communications related to your job or actually, anything that you do. Be alert around Halloween.

 

Gemini (May 21-June 20) 

You are keen to get better organized this week, which is why you are working hard. You will also welcome opportunities to socialize and enjoy sports events and fun times with kids. Some of you might hear from an old flame? Meanwhile, as we near Halloween, something unexpected could impact your health, your job or something to do with a pet. Whatever happens will be surprising and will demand your attention. Caution against snap judgments at that time, especially if you feel rattled. (Which you probably will.) Something might make you question your involvement with a group or a particular friend. Maybe this needs rethinking?

 

Cancer (June 21-July 22) 

This is a fun-loving, playful week for you. Enjoy social outings (if you can swing this) as well as fun activities with kids. The arts and the entertainment world will be entertaining choices along with sports activities. This week, many of you will tackle home repairs or redecorating projects. Romance might be uppermost in your mind (for many of you). If so, be aware that romance is very unpredictable, especially during the Halloween weekend. Anything can happen. Couples might split up; new love might happen. Meanwhile, parents should note that this is an accident-prone time for their kids, especially next weekend when Halloween occurs. Therefore, be vigilant and conscientious to avoid regrets. Be extra vigilant. 

 

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22) 

You’re keen to communicate to others this week and for the next few weeks. In fact, you will feel a need to share your ideas because you have something to say. You will also enjoy learning something new when talking to others. Home and family will continue to be your primary focus but do be aware that this week, especially Halloween weekend, will be upsetting on the home scene. Something unexpected could impact a parent or a family member or something to do with your home. Give this some thought and try to deflect whatever it might be. (You might have a hunch about what could happen. If so – listen to that little voice on your shoulder.) Life is easier when things flow smoothly at home. (No animal was harmed in the writing of this column.)

 

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) 

Please be careful and be aware of everything you say and do right now because this is an accident-prone week, especially at the end of the week near Halloween. Factoid. This means you will have to pay attention to everything you say and do. Be mindful and aware. Fortunately, you will be on top of money issues because you have moneymaking ideas. Many of you will want to shop for beautiful things, for yourself and loved ones. Disputes about shared property, taxes and debt might arise. Issues might make you rebellious and even short tempered this week (oops), which means you will have to cultivate patience. Patience is waiting – without being irritated. So what? 

 

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) 

This week is full of many unpredictable events for different people and these surprises and unexpected situations are going to be different for each sign. For Libra, surprises related to money might occur. Something unexpected might impact your earnings or the wealth and assets of your partner might change? In fact, near Halloween weekend, it will be wise to guard your property and items that you own because something unexpected could affect them – including theft and damage. Stay in touch with bank accounts and information related to taxes and debt to avoid unwanted surprises. This is a talkative week for you, and a very charming one because Venus and Mercury have both entered your sign. Everyone will love to be in your company.

 

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) 

This is a tricky week. The Sun is in your sign but by the end of the week, during Halloween weekend, it will be directly opposite wild, wacky Uranus. This means you will enjoy schmoozing with others as well as being enthused about your involvement with clubs and associations. However, surprises related to pets, your health and your job might occur this week, especially toward the end of the week around Halloween. Something will definitely catch you off guard then, so stay flexible. Try not to have a tight schedule. Give yourself time for wiggle room to deal with the unexpected. Vacation plans or something related to sports might be temporarily stalled but fear not, in Nov., all this will change for the better. In the meantime, no matter what happens this week – don’t quit your day job.

 

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) 

Parents must be extra vigilant this week, especially on the Halloween weekend because this is an accident-prone time for your kids. In fact, on the day of Halloween, it is extremely accident-prone. Therefore, be vigilant and remove all possible hazards that might create problems. Social plans might suddenly change or be cancelled. Sports accidents are also likely. It’s a crapshoot! You certainly face an accident-prone Halloween weekend. Because this is an accident-prone time, so slow down and take it easy and pay attention to everything you say and do. Be mindful and encourage family members to be likewise. The weekend of Halloween will be the most dangerous time for you. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) 

Do be careful because this is an accident-prone week for your sign, most especially at the end of the week during the weekend of Halloween. Any kind of accident might occur, driving, cycling, walking, jogging as well as verbal accidents where you might blurt something out that you later regret. (“Did I just say that?”) On the upside, this unpredictable influence can affect your mind and push it “outside of the box,” which will encourage genius-like ideas and original thinking. Admittedly, some of these genius-like ideas could be bizarre and unrealistic.
