The Secretary of Public Education (SEP) opens more than 96 thousand places for higher education

The SEP published its “zero rejection” program in which it is intended that applicants not selected in the main public universities of the country have an opportunity to complete their university studies.

 

The program was published through a statement explaining that it is aimed at applicants who failed to enter the university in the 2020-2021 admission exam, with a total of 96,859 spaces, the SEP will give them a new opportunity to applicants for higher education.

 

Those interested in the program should register on the portal www.rechazocero.gob.mx, inside they can review the educational offer that offers zero rejection, then choose the one of their preference, there are 316 higher-level institutions in the program.

 

To register in the program, it is required to have the CURP and the admission exam sheet for the 2020-2021 cycle.

 

After registration, applicants must go to the chosen campus and meet the requirements requested by each institution to later make their registration.

 

The program also offers vocational guidance tools, as well as guidance to the labor area in which you want to carry out your profession and dissemination of scholarships.

 

So far, the secretary reports a total of 419 applicants in the program, among the 316 public and private universities.

 

According to data from the SEP, the program registered a total of 458,789 visits during the first week of the program.
