Today, the Guanajuato State Attorney General’s Office reported through its social networks and website the arrest of a criminal group leader as follows:

 

In a joint operation between federal forces, led by the Mexican army and state authorities, the state secretariat of public security and the state attorney general’s office, a businesswoman from Apaseo el Alto was rescued and held in captivity at a home. José Antonio Ypepez Ortiz also known as “El Marro” and five more people were arrested, securing an arsenal of weapons.
