Last Friday, July 3rd, the Secretary of Public Security of the State of Guanajuato, Alvar Cabeza de Vaca, reported through his twitter account the unfortunate death of 5 elements of the State Public Security Forces (FSPE) in addition to 2 injured after an attack in the Apaseos.
Lamentablemente hoy se registra ataque de la Delicuencia Organizada donde fallecen 5 elementos FSPE y dos lesionados en artero y cobarde ataque en los Apaseos. Tristeza y luto en la corporación. Todo nuestro respaldo y apoyo a las familias de las víctimas.

According to La Jornada, so far this year 55 elements from various corporations have been killed.
