In a historical building, with a current staff of 150, Mama Mia restaurant is preparing to reopen, and hopes for success once again. The restaurant’s history started with Adriano’s, a small restaurant located in the Posada La Fuente hotel. The patio was filthy, and some of the hotel’s clients, unable to pay their bills and perhaps harboring stolen goods, would flee through a window on Calle Jesús. The hotel was awful and the restaurant was a failure.

Phase Zero Came With the First COVID-19 Death in SMA
On June 1, 24 businesses reopened to the public in Phase 0. On that same day, San Miguel de Allende registered the first death of a patient caused by COVID-19. According to the Secretariat of Public Health, the man was 37 years old.
Second COVID-19 death reported in SMA
In San Miguel there are already 35 confirmed cases of COVID, yesterday there were 32. The cases under investigation are six (two more than yesterday). The active cases would be 21. A second death was reported today.
Locos Parade 2020 Cancelled
