As of this next week, the process to reactivate hot air balloon flights and tourist trolley rides begins. Restaurants and event service providers will also be able to provide service until midnight.
In order for halted services to get up and running, operators must first obtain “Primero la Salud” and “Guanajuato Sano” certifications, issued by the municipal and state governments, respectively.
With the economic recovery of San Miguel residents as a primary matter, the municipal government established the new Protocols for the Reactivation of Productive Activities.
Starting this Tues., Oct. 13, restaurants will be allowed to extend hours to receive their last orders at 11:30pm, with time to vacate and close the establishment by midnight.
In addition to employing sanitary measures such as frequent hand washing, safe distance and the use of hand sanitizers, diners must wear facemasks when arriving and leaving the restaurant. Once inside the establishment, it is also mandatory to wear the facemask when getting up from the table, including when going to the bathroom.
Similarly, starting Thurs., Oct. 15, social events, weddings and conventions will also have a midnight curfew. Additionally, hotels and restaurants will be able to increase their capacity to 75 percent.
