In an action headed by the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato (SEG) and the governor of Guanajuato Diego Sinhue, the SEG offers students and teachers of the basic level a free email with all the benefits and applications of the Office 365 suite.

 

According to SEG data, the secretary has created more than 1 million accounts for all students and teachers that make up the basic level of the state.

 

With the email account, the beneficiaries will be able to download and install the Office 365 suite on 5 devices, including; tablets, computers, phones or other compatible devices, the suite offers an online storage unit (OneDrive), as well as the possibility of being able to work online in real time with other students through the Teams application.

 

The electronic accounts for teachers are already available, the request should be directed to the regional delegation or to the Service and Support to Education Unit.

• Teachers will be able to consult the electronic educational accounts of their students.

 

Basic level students must ask the teacher for their email account to enjoy the benefits.

 

In the case of private schools, the SEG reports that to enjoy the benefits of the platform, institutions must manage a registry with the Guanajuato Secretary of Education.

 

With these measures, the state of Guanajuato is preparing for the start of classes for the 2020-2021 cycle online, the cycle will begin on August 24 of the present.

 

The secretary of the SEG Yoloxóchitl Bustamante Díez will carry out the signing of the school calendar on August 18 of the present.
