All Signs: Does it feel like things are stalled in the water? Well, it so happens that five planets are retrograde right now: Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto. Oy! (I’m sure this is why I can’t seem to lose weight.) The good news is this week Mercury retrograde is over, at least technically. Yay! However, it is still nine degrees behind where it was when it first went retrograde, and until it catches up to that original degree – we are not truly in the clear. To be sure, goofy errors and transportation delays will reduce. Definitely. That’s a relief and it’s welcome news! But do you want to buy a car or a computer during this shadow period? Deep Russian male voice: “I think not, baby puppy.”
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Your focus on home, family and a parent continues. If you have had company camped out on your doorstep, by the end of the week, they will leave because finally, Mercury retrograde will be over in terms of its impact on your life. Fiery Mars is now in your sign where will stay for the rest of the year, pumping you with energy and aggression. Fortunately, fair Venus is in your House of Communication, softening your words and making you much more agreeable to everyone – at least, in short little bursts of time. Venus also makes you appreciate your surroundings as well as realize how much people really do care for you. Gosh. (It almost makes me tear up.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Your fast pace continues because you have a busy schedule of short trips and things to do! And yes, you have people to see! Life has been hectic lately because Mercury retrograde affected transportation issues, communications, cell phones and a myriad of ways that would introduce tiny little obstacles to your daily world. Fortunately, most of this insanity will end this week. Meanwhile, Venus will continue to attract money to you. (We like!) Furthermore, it will encourage you to buy beautiful things for yourself and loved ones as well as art objects – and who appreciates art more than you? Avoid arguments on Wednesday. Zip thy lip.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Money and possessions are a big focus for you now. This could relate to your earnings – or lack of them. It certainly relates to your cash flow, your assets, your wealth and your possessions. The delays and a bit of insanity that have impacted your cash flow will reduce by the end of this week. They’re history. Things will start to settle down. Nevertheless, avoid squabbles midweek about money issues (or possibly, something you own). Fortunately, fair Venus is in your sign now, which makes you diplomatic and charming. In fact, Venus will also make this an excellent week for you to buy wardrobe goodies for yourself. It’s important to feel good about yourself when shopping for clothes. (“I love me” or “I hate me.” Guess what different choices those moods create!)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
It’s still all about you, dear Cancer with the Sun in your sign boosting your energy and giving you a chance to recharge for the rest of year. This Cancer Sun will also attract people and favourable situations to you. Nevertheless, midweek, Mercury in your sign is at odds with Mars at the top of your chart, which means arguments with parents, bosses, teachers and the police could take place. However, they won’t happen if you are not part of the dance, will they? As we both know, it takes two to make a fight. Secret love affairs are still at play for many of you. This is a good time to think about what you want to achieve in the next five years. Ideas?
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
For a variety of reasons, you will want to play things low-key and sort of hide behind the scenes this week. (No peeking.) You won’t completely be a recluse because Venus will seduce you to talk to friends and socialize with groups. In particular, you might be more involved with creative, artistic people. Something that might be building up is you are developing ideas that run counter to someone else’s beliefs but you feel you cannot speak up. This is probably wise. Sometime something like this fades away on its own or it starts to evolve into something else that is manageable. (One hopes.) Wait to see if it’s really important before you actually vocalize your concerns. Nobody wants to end up with egg on their face. (Ketchup helps.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is a popular week! Enjoy interacting with friends and groups in person or online. (Zoom, Zoom, Zoom!) You will talk to younger people more than usual. With Venus at the top of your chart, life favours your business and professional life, which is why you will attract people and circumstances that will help your work. Someone might also ask for your input about artistic matters like design, layout, redecorating, or PR ideas. However, avoid squabbles with a friend midweek about shared property. (Or a sexual relationship?) Remember that anger serves no purpose other than to make you miserable.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Try to accomplish as much as possible this week because the Sun is at the top of your chart casting you in a flattering spotlight. This means you look great in the eyes of others! Since this only happens once a year for four weeks — literally it is your chance to “Make hay while the Sun shines!” Make your pitch and do whatever you can to advance your agenda. However, having said that, midweek, you might be at odds with someone in a position of authority (boss, parent, teacher or the police). Or perhaps this argument takes place with a partner or close friend? Use your diplomacy to diffuse the situation. Meanwhile, travel or a change of scenery is what you long for. Something different and pleasant!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
If you could travel – you would love this because you need a change of scenery. You want to learn new things and experience adventure and fresh stimulation! Because many of you are gung ho to work hard now, you might encounter this stimulation through your own efforts. Meanwhile, sexy passion is hot this week. (The stuff of movies.) This is also an excellent week to ask to borrow something, including a loan from a bank or a mortgage because you can benefit from the wealth and resources of others, including your partner. It’s nice when gifts start coming your way, isn’t it?
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This continues to be a passionate, intense week for you. However, delays with shared property, taxes, debt and insurance issues will fade away. Now you might be able to get the show on the road again! However, disputes about the same areas might arise midweek. Fortunately, it looks like relations with your partner or close friend are cozy, which means someone will have your back. These disputes midweek might also be a lovers’ quarrel. Fear not because with Venus opposite your sign, you are nicely in tune with others and sensitive to their needs and wants. In fact, it’s easy for you to express affection for others right now. Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You will continue to need more rest and more sleep this week. Respect your need for this. Meanwhile, because the Sun is directly opposite your sign (this happens only once a year for four weeks), this is an excellent opportunity for you to have more objectivity and a little distance to observe yourself in these relationships. You will see where you’re winning and where you might improve. Squabbles midweek might occur with someone at home, perhaps with family due to the increased chaos or activity at home. Fortunately, Venus guarantees warm relations with coworkers and anything related to your job or a pet. Woof!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
It’s fabulous how much you are getting done now because you’re motivated to work and more than that, you want to get better organized in every aspect of your life. You even want to improve your health! Since you are motivated about these issues – get as much done as possible! Make this work for you! Tread carefully midweek because a work-related argument might arise or perhaps a disagreement with a sibling or relative. Stay chill. Meanwhile Venus encourages socializing, romantic involvements and joy in expressing your creative talents in the arts. It’s a good time for playful activities with kids. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
This continues to be fun city for you! Try to take a mini-vacation or enjoy schmoozing with others or having parties as long as they are not a threat to anyone’s health. Enjoy playful activities with kids. Romance is particularly favoured. You will also welcome any chance to express your creative ideas and talents. This is also a great week to enjoy redecorating projects at home or to tweak your digs. You might want to invite someone over so they can admire your excellent choices. Admittedly, midweek, an argument with one of your kids or a creative partner might arise. Quite possibly, the argument is about money and possessions.
