It’s time to grab your feather boas, masks, beads, festive clothing, and dancing shoes because the event everyone’s been waiting for is almost here. On February 27, from 6:30pm until 10:00pm, at the beautiful Instituto Allende, Mujeres en Cambio is throwing a Carnaval celebration to remember!
There will be three different groups to entertain you: The Mavericks, Ballet Folklorico, and Tuna Traditional. And it doesn’t stop there. There will be delicious freshly made food to enjoy and a cash bar serving wine and vodka. The price of your first drink is included in the ticket price.
Of course the evening wouldn’t be complete without a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind art, jewelry, gift certificates, genuine Venetian masks, home decor, and so much more. You can also purchase raffle tickets for a pair of gorgeous boots donated by Agave Sky.
Everyone likes to record fun times with photos, so stop by the specially designed area we’ve designated for you and your friends to capture those memories forever.
It’s Mujeres en Cambio’s 25th anniversary and we want to celebrate with all of the people who have supported us over the years and persons new to San Miguel de Allende. We are an NGO dedicated to providing scholarships to girls in the towns and villages surrounding San Miguel. We provide these scholarships from the seventh grade through university. Statistics have proven that if the young women of any country are given a chance to be educated the future of that country is far brighter. Won’t you please help us to continue to provide these opportunities for girls through your ticket purchase?
