Spring is coming and with it a new season of creativity and fresh ideas. This bazaar is the first event in the city of San Miguel de Allende created specifically to showcase independent Mexican design and promote handmade national products. Our goal is to invite artists and the public to join the consumer movement of national fashion and design and to support creative, innovative design proposals.

Behind the products made in Mexico there are thousands of stories of brave, creative entrepreneurs. By buying these original items you are supporting the national economy, empowering emerging designers, and taking home something of high quality produced under just, ethical labor conditions.

The designers are from different parts of the republic such as Distrito Federal, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, León, Guanajuato, Puebla and San Miguel.

There will be innovations in fashion, embroidery, jewelry, accessories, toys, footwear, interior design, furniture, lighting, art-object, ceramics, engraving, illustration, ceramics, candles, dolls, bags, and textile art. There will also be a gourmet food and personal care area with natural and top quality products.

The event will take place on February 22 and 23 at Ancha de San Antonio 30, (between Mercado Orgánico and Instituto Allende) from 10 am-6pm.

A weekend of fun, culture, and the sale of original jewelry, art, fashion, and more awaits you. Follow us on our social networks to learn more details about the participating designers and future events. We want to thank our dear friend the extraordinary artist and ceramist Lorenzo Lorenzzo for our beautiful poster.

Become a responsible fashion consumer

  • Buy fair trade brands. There are many brands that try to make their production more ethical and clean. Look for socially responsible projects.
  • Purchase vintage or second hand items.  The bazaars and markets are a perfect place to find unique pieces that are often high quality and last longer.
  • Get informed! Keep educating yourself and researching to make better decisions.
  • Look for quality. Artisanal and small production designs are usually of higher quality. Invest in pieces that will last longer and that are more interesting.
