It could be argued that no nongovernmental organization in San Miguel has a more widespread impact on the community than the Biblioteca Pública. More than a library, the institution is a unique cultural and educational center offering diverse services that reflect the changing interests and needs of the community.

In San Miguel, we have a wonderful institution, a 50-year old library that started in the home of a visionary and morphed over the years into a bicultural community center.
